Using her skills as an artist, Collette removes unwanted elements like in this example, the hose the cat is sitting on, changing the background colours and starting to open up the cat's eyes so he appears more friendly and engaging....

The Finished artwork
An extra element is added to show the cats personality. In this example, this much loved cat has a bit of an identity crisis going on due to his being a Tom cat with a girly name. Introducing to you, Princess Timothy Anne and his tiara.
