So much for a catch up week but I'm working on it, who could imagine I'd find it hard to get to cafes but I certainly do! Just too damn busy!
This week I visited a gorgeous retro cafe in the city, Hazel Hayes, in Victoria St. The coffee was great and the whole feel of the place was comfortable and cutesy. I loved the little retro touches but felt some were a little like after thoughts.
It was really busy so obviously popular, I know I'd go back! 8/10
As for the creative side of things I've managed to get a fair bit done this week, I might have a whole heap of clothes but I had a moment of nothing to wear! So I whipped up a pencil skirt in a pretty purple snake print denim, nice to add a touch of colour to my wardrobe of hairdresser black! I also did a restyle on an old blouse I had, it started off as a long sleeve corset inspired blouse which I never wore as it felt so formal and restricting. So I cut off the sleeves and part of the back turning it into a halter neck style, much more me I think!
And as I'm going back blonde ill need all this extra colour in my life!
