The LK CoffeeHub is situated on the corner of Grey Street & Wellington Street in Hamilton Eats, I've been here before when it was the Cyprus Tree but it recently changed hands. My parents go here often and are warmly greeted by their names by the lovely proprietor Raymond who welcomed us just as warmly.
The cafe has a lovely relaxed atmosphere with a local artists work on the walls. We stayed for lunch and I enjoyed two coffees so I could test out both the usual Americano and a mocha chino. I wasn't disappointed, the coffee was great, my request for pink marshmallows was met and each coffee arrived with a cute little biscuit treat, always a nice touch that I think deserves bonus points for any cafe trying to get return customers!
It wasn't noisy and there was a nice cool breeze flowing through, the old old trees surrounding the cafe gave it a great ambience that takes it away from the busy corner and makes it feel more suburban and relaxed. I recommend you try them out and help support a lovely young couple with a passion for good food, coffee and friendly service!
I chose this week to make a little summer romper suit for my grandson who still hasnt arrived yet! hes now 8 days overdue! i remember how hot it gets for wee bubs in this NZ weather as both my babies were born at this time of year, a loose cotton suit is just the answer, this is a little sailor suit and Im sure he is going to look adoreable in it! let me know what you think!
